How Rebet works

Key takeaways
- › Two coins: Rebet Coins (play) and Sweeps Coins (redeemable).
- › You never buy Sweeps Coins directly — they come as bonuses.
- › Peer-to-peer challenges: no house, no vig on the line.
- › Post an open challenge or challenge a friend directly.
- › Not an order book — no price discovery like Kalshi/Polymarket.
- › Rebet takes a small platform fee on redemption, not on the line.
The coin system in 60 seconds
Rebet has two virtual currencies:
- Rebet Coins (RC). Standard play currency. You can buy these with a debit card or earn them free. They're for entertainment only and cannot be redeemed.
- Sweeps Coins (SC). The redeemable currency. Every RC purchase includes a bonus stack of SC. You also get free SC via daily login and can request them by mail (the AMOE). One SC redeems for one USD, subject to redemption minimums.
The peer-to-peer challenge flow
- Pick a game — say, Dolphins vs Bills tonight.
- Choose your side and the coin amount you want to wager.
- Either send the challenge directly to a friend, or post it to Rebet's public pool.
- When another user accepts, both sides are locked in.
- After the game resolves, the winner takes both sides' coins.
Because another user is the counterparty, there's no house edge on the line itself — the "-110 vig" you'd pay at a sportsbook doesn't exist here.
How Rebet is different from Kalshi and Polymarket
Kalshi and Polymarket are real markets — they have order books, continuous trading, and a market price that reflects all participants' opinions. You can enter and exit any time at the going price.
Rebet is a peer challenge platform. Each challenge is a discrete 1v1 wager that either happens (someone accepts) or doesn't. There's no continuous market, no price you can trade against, no way to hedge partway through.
The upside: it's a lot easier to grasp than an order book, and the sports coverage is deeper. The downside: you can't use Rebet to build a real hedged position on, say, the presidential election or a Fed decision.

Both platforms are free to sign up. Kalshi is CFTC-regulated USD. Polymarket settles in USDC.
Play responsibly
Prediction markets are real-money trading and you can lose your full stake. We recommend 21+. If trading stops feeling fun, call 1-800-GAMBLER or text 988.
